There could be a lot of reasons.
First and most likely is your Laptop is overheated. Best way to solve this is turn off your computer when your not using it and use a cooling pad.
Secondly depending on what your using your computer for and your security measures you may have gotten viruses, spy-ware, or ad-ware on your computer. I suggest scanning your computer with your anti-virus of choice (I use Avast! it's free and pretty good), and download and scan it with spybot search and destroy and ad-aware. both are free and powerful. If you find your computer is infected I suggest getting a different web browser if you were using Internet Explorer. I use Mozilla Firefox. Google's chrome is another popular one. If that's not the issue You may just have too much running in the background. Get Gamebooster it's free, it'll temporarily end unneeded processes and programs that are running in the background while you play your game.
