Speed vs Torque, which is more important?
So, my team and I are building a wind turbine as a part of a project that we are competing against with other universities and colleges. I figured that the first step that we need to research is whether a DC motor with more speed is more important, or one with more torque. I am not completely sure if torque is the correct word, but basically a motor that is harder to turn. What do you guys think?
