Internal Tooth Bleaching after Root Canal Treatment: Is it considered very safe? Any Risk?

Any dentist or expert in the field who can let me know if there is a risk associated with an internal bleach done by a dentist on a front tooth? crest whitening helped other teeth except this one! the tooth is healthy just changed color due to root canal. I just want to make sure internal bleaching is safe and will not weaken the tooth for example(?)

About 3 years ago I had a bike accident and had to get root canals on my 2 front teeth. Im now 14 and my dentist advised against getting crowns because I'm to young. After the root canals my teeth started to darken a little and I had internal bleaching done..it lasted for a little but then darkened again. Im going to get it done again tomorrow..the dentist doing it reassured this wouldnt weaken this wouldnt weaken the teeth..another dentist however said it would weaken the teeth a little...I guess it depends on how brittle the tooth is and also the opinion a specific dentist gives you..
