I was just doing a google search and I noticed something that really kind of shocked me. For example, John McCain said he "hates the gooks" and yet we still vote for him to be republican presidential candidate. But when Don Imus said, "nappy headed hoes" about a majority black basketball team it got major national attention. Instead of replacing him with someone with not a lot of controversy they replaced Don Imus with Craig Carton, a New Jersey based "shock jock" infamous for mocking Asians and Latinos, "outing" politicians he presumes are gay, and turning in undocumented immigrants.

Would McCain still be able to run for pres. if he would have said, "I hate the n****rs". Why is there so much more sensitivity placed on african americans than the other minority group? Is this fair?
