What's the best way to remove hair from my vagina?
Because I am that of a African-American, my hair is naturally thick and curly. Because of this, when I shave my vagina hair, the hair comes back quickly and because it has a sharp edge from the razor, pokes my skin as it curls over, allowing germs and other things to enter my body. And because of that, I get small pimples. I've tried Nair, and it's really messy and makes me too cautious to get it IN my vagina. I haven't tried waxing. Any suggestions?
I've shaved before and man, did I NOT like it (for all the reasons you mention, plus it itched like heck as it grew back).
What I do is a close bikini shave and a nice "haircut" (to keep things short and neat).
It's worked well for me so far (or at least my guy hasn't complained...).
There are posts here about waxing (what's called a Brazilian wax). I've never tried it tho, so can't help there.
As for Nair, you're right to be cautious. I"ve read that it can sting really bad if it gets in your vagina.
