Need help reading a pregnancy test!!!!?
Ok, my gyno gave me this test to take. It's manufactured by Henry Schein. It's in a blue pouch and says One Step+ hCG Urine Cassette Test. On the test itself there's a little hole where you put three drops of urine. When I did, the little window filled up purple up to the C. Now all that's left is a purple line below the C. Can anybody tell me what this means??
The package is plain. I assumed the directions would be inside.
I have done the same test, and the funny thing is they sell these at the dollor store too (same brand). There should be a C and a T on the side of the window. The C area is the Control box, which when a line apears tells you that the test is working and isn't a dud. The T area is the Test area if a line shows up, no matter how faint (and it can be faint), then that is a positive pregnancy test. If no line appears in the T area then it is a negative test and you will need to re-test in a couple of days. Also the test needs to be read within 10 minutes, because a evaporation line can apear in the T area which will give you a false positive.
