I gave my boyfriend head, I have oral herpes but am NOT currently experiencing an outbreak?
My boyfriend and I have been together for about 9 months, and because I have herpes simplex 1 I do not perform oral sex on him. However, last night I gave him oral for the second time in our 9 month relationship. I am not in an outbreak and haven't had one in months. I kiss him all the time, and he has never had an outbreak. Also, his mother gets cold sores and has been kissing him his whole life and he's never gotten anything. Is he immune to herpes simplex 1? Should I be paranoid about spreading it to genital region? I of course know it's possible, but is it probable? I will never give him head again, this is far too stressful! Do you think he'll be okay?
