vettech makes one but it doesn prevent or cure thrush. It has the same copper chemical in it that kopertox has but it does not prevent or successfully treat thrush. Also, thrush buster, as well as most commercial thrush treatments, is harmful to the feet. It will kill healthy tissue as well as some of the unhealthy. It sets you up for repeated bouts of thrush as there is always a lot of dead tissue present just waiting for the first big rain so the fungus and bacteria can begin multiplying again.
Do you have a thrush problem? If you do, let me know and I'll tell you how to treat it so you don't hurt your horse. There is no such thing as "preventative" treatment for thrush in the form of some chemical or gel packing. I have used the gel material for certain applications and while it does nothing for the thrush issue, it seems that it doesn't make the sole all goopy when I am attempting to treat a sensitive sole issue.
