How do they do this or was it just the old analog phones that affected equipment? What equipment is affected? I want facts and good info.
Yes, they do. The signals they send and receive are nothing but interference to other electrical devices. In a hospital they forbid the cell phone usage because if they make interface an operating machine might give up the wrong info. Almost anything will give out interference. Try walking in front of an antenna TV, eventually you will get some sort of picture interference. Remember, cell phones will not destroy or damage the equipment, but it MIGHT cause interference, that is all.
