Why didn't my dentist cure my tooth?
I had composite fillings done and the dentist never used that curing light gun thing. It seems as though they just let the filling set for 5 minutes or so....Will these fillings be weaker or something?
No. There is such a thing as self-curing composite. These do not require the curing light and will harden by themselves. It is not a weaker filling material, just newer. If the filling has hardened, then you have nothing to worry about. If it is still soft, then I'd go back and complain.
