How long will it take my teeth to whiten if I brush my teeth once daily with a baking soda/water paste?
Ok I read yesterday that a baking soda and water paste will help whiten my teeth if I brush them with the paste once a day. How long till I see results? And do I keep using my usual toothpaste as well or stop using it?
I think the best thing to do is to brush 3 or more times a day ( even after every meal is good)This way the food that gets stuck in your teeth gets brushed out and doesn't end up creating a cavity or worse, staining.
Brushing your teeth with baking soda is ok. but don't do it more that one or two times a week. Think of the baking soda as an acidic chemical. It might make something shiny or nice if you use it every once in a while, but if you use it too much it starts eating away a what ever it is (in your case the tooth's enamel.) Ive been brushing like this frequently and using backing soda every once in a while and it really makes a difference. My friends are constantly telling me that my teeth are really white.
