Then they put the pliers around poor little Toothy.
Then they started pulling on poor little Toothy.
Then Toothy made little snappy-cracky noises as he was being pulled out.
Now Toothy is in a little blue box taking a rest.
And I have a big fat wad of cotton in my mouth..
Ha...when I lick my lips my tongue and lips go all crooked...
I mean, I haven't had a cavity or anything, so yeah
I had to get it pulled because it was supposed to come out a long time ago, but it was stuck and the one behind it wasn't strong enough to come through. Other than that, my teeth are in very good condition
You gave such a great description that I got a visual in my mind but when I got my tooth yanked it went like this...first Grandma put a chair between the door and the framework, then she got the strongest string she could find. Usually it was my yo-yo string. She tied one end of the string around the knob of the door and the other around of my tooth which of course by now had stopped hurting in fear of being Yanked out by Grandma. Dear Grandma, all this time kept chanting it's gonna be alright honey, it's not gonna hurt at all, it's gonna be over in just a second, just close Your eyes, as if I'm gonna do that. Ok, She has me count in my head, 1,2,3, bam she slams the door. Oh mercy me, has anything ever felt so bad, not even my aching tooth before this started. I know I'm over dramatizing. Ok, tomorrow's another day..plus the tooth fairy will bring me my quarter, Right? I am sorry about Your toothy but I don't think I ever mourned for mine like You did but maybe I should have.
