i need some ideas on how to get my doors on my 81 chevy to pop open a couple inches once the latch is popped?
I have shaved door handles with a push button to unlatch the door but would like the door to pop open a few inches. Any ideas?
Some specialty shops and hotrod fitters sell them. They are called door poppers and have been around for years. Basically they are a flush mounted cylinder with a spring loaded plunger inside. They also make electric ones that use solenoids to pop the door open.
