bad breath. I have really good oral hygiene?
-Morning i wake up brush my teeth for 2 minutes (or so) front of my teeth and back. And i rise with Listerine mouth wash for 1 minute (or so)
- night i brush my teeth for about 3 minutes front and back. i floss, and then use mouthwash for 1 minute.
But still i wake up in the morning with bad breath. Not mild bad breath but really bad breath.
How do i make sure my morning breath is really bad? I'm not expecting minty fresh breath, but just not horrible breath.
The major cause of bad breath, especially morning breath, is the top of the tongue where bacteria grow and produce those bad smells. Mints, gum, mouthwash, and even toothpaste will cover up this bad breath for a short time, however, they do not cure bad breath because they do not get rid of the bacteria. Mouthwash may kill a few bacteria and it may sting the lining of your mouth but they do not remove the bacteria. It rapidly grows right back.
